Edible Collagen Casing EDC 01 is designed specially to produce all kind of fresh, boiled and/or lightly smoked sausages; to be fried or boiled. It is excellent for those products which need superior frying qualities (grill, frying-pan or barbecue).

- The caddy containing the casing is folded in plastic, air and watertight closed, acting as a barrier for water vapour, keeping the correct level of humidity prior to being used. It is available in sticks of 15 m as standard length. It can also be made in other different sizes depending on the customer requirements. Packaging has a plastic foil to take the whole contents to the filler of the automatic stuffing machine.

Once the box is opened, if the casing is not going to be used completely, it should be kept inside a plastic bag at a temperature of 5-10° C, and a humitity of 60-70%. This is also advisable for boxes that have been damaged.
